These terms apply to the AKM Transportation Driver Dispatch Texts program run by AKM Transportation INC ("AKM," "we," or "us"). By opting in to text messages from AKM, you agree to them.

1. Who Receives Texts

The program is only for drivers employed or contracted by AKM. We use the mobile numbers we collect for dispatch communication only, and we keep them ourselves. We never share, sell, or rent mobile numbers or SMS consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

2. What We Send

• Load assignments and dispatch notices
• Pickup and delivery times and addresses
• Route, permit, and other operational updates
• Follow-up questions about a load
• Service-related announcements

3. How Often

Message frequency depends on load activity. While you are under dispatch, you may get several messages a day.

4. Costs

Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier's plan. Rates for domestic and international messages may differ.

5. How to Opt In

You opt in by checking the separate SMS consent box on our driver application form or on the AKM onboarding paperwork. The box is optional and unchecked by default. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of employment or contract, and you can leave the box unchecked and still apply.

6. How to Opt Out

• Reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation text and no further messages.
• Or ask the dispatch team to remove your number.
